The 3rd CICEE Southeast Asia, 3rd Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (Southeast Asia) officially opened on September 3 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, drawing widespread attention from the global construction machinery industry.
As a key platform for Chinese construction equipment companies expanding into Southeast Asia, this year’s exhibition was held under the theme of “High-End, Intelligent, and Green Development.” More than 90 leading domestic and international enterprises participated, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and forging new partnerships.
Government and Enterprise Join Forces to Support Global Expansion

During the exhibition, Ms. Zhang Yingchun, Vice Governor of Hunan Province, visited the Drillmaster booth, accompanied by Mr. Wu Zhaoshu, Director of the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and other officials.
Mr. Shen Deyi, Jason, General Manager of Drillmaster Group, warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced the company’s latest products, technological solutions, and global market strategy.
Vice Governor Zhang spoke highly of Drillmaster’s achievements in international markets and encouraged the company to continue deepening its overseas expansion, further strengthening the global influence of “Made in Hunan”. Her visit reflected the government’s strong commitment and practical support for Chinese construction machinery enterprises going global.
Strategic Cooperation Agreements Accelerate Southeast Asia Expansion

At the opening ceremony of 3rd CICEE Southeast Asia, Drillmaster Group participated in a high-profile signing event alongside industry leaders such as SANY and Zoomlion, concluding multiple cooperation agreements with Southeast Asian partners.
These new partnerships will significantly enhance the localized presence of Chinese construction machinery companies in Southeast Asia, while deepening China–ASEAN equipment cooperation.
A Key Platform Bridging China and Southeast Asia for the 3rd CICEE Southeast Asia

Since its debut in 2023, the Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (Southeast Asia) has become a critical gateway for Chinese companies entering the ASEAN market.
- Total exhibition area of previous two sessions: 22,000 m²
- Over 220 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors
- On-site deals and cooperation agreements worth nearly 2 billion RMB
This year’s exhibition built on that foundation, leveraging the region’s accelerating infrastructure development, mining industry upgrades, and green transition. It showcased the latest technological innovations from China’s construction machinery sector.
Technical Leadership on Display of 3rd CICEE Southeast Asia

Drillmaster’s technical expert Mr. Shui Junfeng delivered a keynote presentation titled “The Application of Drillmaster Rotary Drilling Tools in China’s Mega Bridge Projects.” His in-depth insights and real-world applications drew enthusiastic applause, highlighting Drillmaster’s strong technical capabilities and innovation-driven growth.
Drillmaster’s journey of technological breakthrough mirrors the broader transformation of China’s construction machinery industry from technological catch-up to global innovation leadership.
From Product Export to Ecosystem Integration

The exhibition provided valuable opportunities for Hunan’s construction equipment enterprises to engage with Southeast Asian markets at a deeper level. Many exhibitors scheduled meetings with potential clients, aiming to translate these interactions into tangible cooperation outcomes.
Hunan is China’s largest construction machinery manufacturing base, home to nearly 1,000 enterprises, including five companies ranked among the global Top 50. In 2024, the province’s construction machinery industrial cluster reached a total output of 230 billion RMB, ranking first nationwide for 15 consecutive years. The Changsha cluster has been recognized by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as one of three world-class industrial cluster cultivation samples.

Looking ahead, Drillmaster will continue advancing its strategic transformation from “product export” to “ecosystem integration.” By adopting a multi-channel, front-loaded sales and service approach, the company aims to provide higher-quality and more efficient solutions to global customers, while contributing to the long-term development of the Southeast Asian market.
