As the summer sun blazed down on Hunan, a wave of compassion rose even higher. On July 6, the Changsha Cross-Border Trade Association, in collaboration with Xin Xin Charity Organization, organized a large-scale educational support initiative in Xinhua County, Loudi City, Hunan province. With warmth and care from all its members, the team brought love and hope to children in remote mountainous areas. From early morning until 11 PM, volunteers visited each family with unwavering passion and commitment.
This year’s initiative was unprecedented in scale. Mr. Jason Shen, General Manager of Drillmaster Group and President of the Association, and Mr. Wang Lirong, General Manager of Anlian Steel and Vice President of the Association, personally led the mission. Over 100 volunteers were divided into 12 groups to visit underprivileged families across several townships in Xinhua County.
Before departure, association representatives and volunteers carefully prepared gift packages and daily necessities for the children. Each gift carried heartfelt blessings from member companies, and every word of encouragement expressed hopes for the children’s bright future.
Stories Behind Each Doorstep During the Charity Education Programme
The families visited face a variety of challenges—some are burdened by chronic illness, others are affected by unexpected accidents, and many suffer from the loss of breadwinners. Yet, what remains unchanged is the burning desire for knowledge in the children’s eyes and their unwavering dreams for the future.
During the visits, we had the opportunity to observe the students’ study environments. Though simple and modest, every corner reflected a sense of diligence: textbooks neatly stacked by the bedside, faded award certificates still carefully preserved on the walls. These small details silently reveal the children’s deep respect for education.
Timely Support, Lasting Impact
In one household, we met a girl who was on the brink of dropping out of school after her previous sponsor withdrew support. Upon learning her situation, the Association and Hunan Imachine Technology Co., Ltd. immediately pledged to sponsor her together, ensuring she could continue her studies. This timely support didn’t just keep her in school—it safeguarded her dream and gave hope to her entire family.

Heartfelt Gratitude from the Children
Many children we met were not only excellent in academics but also actively helped with housework and cared for their families. What touched us the most were the handwritten thank-you letters from the children. Each word revealed their sincere gratitude for the care they had received.
